Lincoln Town Car Slotted rotors, like the Hawk Performance Quiet Slot, are better suited for higher speeds or if you intend to use an aggressive brake pad such as the EBC YellowStuff or a Hawk Performance Race Pad. This doesn't mean you can't use standard pads with a slotted rotor on the street, they are a great upgrade over factory blank rotors.
